Nephrolepis cordifolia , known as the sword fern or fishbone fern, is a species of fern in the family Nephrolipidaceae native to northern Australia and east Asia. This evergreen fern can reach as high as 40–80 centimetres, and is characterised by its long thin fronds. It is a hardy species of fern that thrives in a wide variety of temperate to tropical environments and prefers higher humidity. Suitable for use in bioactive terrariums for many species such as Dart frogs, Tree Frogs, Crested Geckos and Chameleons.
