Delivery Information
Order Processing and Dispatch
Times:
- Orders comprising livefood only will be dispatched on the same day
if received before 11am.
- Orders comprising livefood along with other products will be
dispatched same day where stock levels permit or within 2-3 working days
if stock needs to be ordered.
- Dispatch times on all other goods tend to be 1-3 working days
however we will always endeavour to get your goods to you as quick as
possible. If the estimated dispatch time exceeds 3 days due to matters
beyond our control, we will notify you of this.
- At times we may have certain items sent direct from our suppliers
to decrease shipping delays.
- We may alter shipping method to suit your order to get it to you as
quickly and safely as possible.
- Live food Subscriptions are dispatched weekly on a Tuesday
Royal Mail (Large Letter)
- For eligible goods that will fit into a large letter this shipping
option will automatically become enabled, the cost of this service starts
from £2.10. This is sent on a first class service.
- Please bear in mind possible delays and disruption to royal mail
delivery especially during busy or festive periods.
- Royal mail will not consider a parcel lost for 14 working days
(nearly 3 weeks) so we are unable to send replacements until this
timeframe has passed.
Royal Mail (Small Parcel)
- For eligible goods that are between 0.05kg-2kg Royal Mail Small
parcel shipping will become automatically enabled. The cost for this
service ranges from £4.70 - £9.50 dependent upon weight/size of parcel.
This is sent on a first class service.
- Please bear in mind possible delays and disruption to royal mail
delivery especially during festive periods.
- Royal mail will not consider a parcel lost for 14 working days
(nearly 3 weeks) so we are unable to send replacements until this
timeframe has passed.
Tracked Parcel (Mon-Friday): (heavy or larger goods, next
day delivery)
- Our express parcel shipping is usually fulfilled by TNT/Fedex
or Parcel Force The price for this service starts from £9.60 dependent
upon weight/size of goods ordered.
- This is an express service with guaranteed next working day
delivery (Mon-Fri), please note next day delivery is from point of
dispatch not point of ordering.
- Goods shipped via TNT/Fedex or Parcel Force require a
signature upon receipt.
Free Shipping: (During Promotional periods)
- Free Shipping will follow the same guidelines as above, Free
Shipping covers Mon-Fri deliveries only
- Orders will be dispatched and shipped following the same timeframes
as for Royal Mail or Tracked parcel Shipping, Shipping method will be
determined by the order weight.
Livestock Shipping:
- For all livestock shipping enquiries please contact the us in
store, via email or our face book page.
- Livestock Shipping is by High Flyers (fully insured and Defra
registered animal courier) to ship animals anywhere in the UK and to some
European destinations.
- Consignments are collected from us every Tuesday and arrive to you
within 24hrs on the next day (Wednesday).
- The charge for this service is £65 per consignment (max 15 animals)
anywhere within England and Wales, the cost for destinations in Scotland
and some selected European destinations may vary.
- Livestock shipping must be booked by Friday 6pm for shipping that
week otherwise it will roll over to the next week for shipping.
- Proof of set up, environmental parameters and appropriate knowledge
must be provided prior to us shipping an animal to you. This will be
requested by staff at the point of your enquiry about livestock shipping.
Perishable goods shipping:

For all orders containing perishable goods
we recommend that you select a tracked shipping method and track your
consignment using your provided tracking number (sent out by email and visible
in your customer orders history once dispatched) to ensure that you are present
for delivery.

Please include additional delivery
instructions regarding alternative delivery address or safe place if you are unsure
whether you will be in to receive your perishable goods.

We can only replace or refund perishable
goods that arrive in an unsatisfactory condition when they were accepted for
delivery on the first delivery attempt. Delays caused by redelivery attempts
will mean replacements and refunds are at management discretion for perished
goods.
