UV Tube Starters and Reflectors

UVB flow tubes require an external starter (also referred to as a controller, motor or ballast), this is the electrical fitting that the bulb plugs into. Standard (T8) UVB flow tubes require the Core range of starters to work while the T5 high output UVB tubes require the specialist T5 starters.

UVB bulb reflectors will ensure that you get the maximum benefit from your UVB bulb by reflecting the UVB down into the enclosure and towards your reptile.

The Arcadia Pro T5 units represent the most up to date advancement when it comes to UVB lighting as they encompass the starter unit, bulb and reflector all as a single kit.
