Philodendron brandtianum is a climbing philodendrong native to Brazil. The striking colouration of the leaves make it an attractive option in any tropical terrarium. it is a hardy species that will actively grow up branches and backgrounds when provided with regular misting. Like all philodendron, it prefers moderate watering but not waterlogged soil. This species prefers bright but indirect light similar to what it would receive in the rainforest understory where it would be found growing up the trunks of larger trees. This species will work well in enclosures for a wide variety of species including amphibians, smaller neo tropical geckos such as day geckos and crested geckos or with larger species like chameleons, cone headed iguana's or keel bellied lizards etc.
