Worms
Our livefood is delivered fresh in store twice per week and durning busy periods some online orders are sent direct from the livefood farm to ensure that when each and every tub of crickets, locusts, mealworms and morio worms reach you they are as fresh and nutritious as possible. We provide a diverse range of live food and along with the usual crickets, locusts, mealworms, morio worms and wax worms, we also provide some of the more unusual feeder insects including, dubia cockroaches, calci worms, bean weevils, fruit flies, springtails, tropical woodlice and when in season we provide Butter worms and Silkworms.
We have also provided a nutritional breakdown for each of the live food selections along with the unbalanced calcium-phosphorous ratio.
In general most worms contain a higher fat content than other popualr feeder insects such as crickets and locusts, for this reason they are more often recomended as a supplementary food source with adult animals but are particularly helpful for breeding female animals or fast growing young individuals. It is also worth noting that most worms, if stored correctly, will remain fresh for many weeks at a time.
