Crickets
Our livefood is delivered fresh in store twice per week and during
busy periods some online orders are sent direct from the livefood farm to
ensure that when each tub of crickets, locusts, mealworms and morio worms reach
you they are as fresh and nutritious as possible. We provide a diverse range of
live food and along with the usual crickets, locusts, mealworms, morio worms
and wax worms, we also provide some of the more unusual feeder insects
including, dubia cockroaches, calci worms, bean weevils, fruit flies,
springtails, tropical woodlice and Silkworms.
We have also provided a
nutritional breakdown for each of the popular live food selections along with
the unbalanced calcium-phosphorous ratio.
Crickets are crepuscular (More active at dawn and dusk) so are a
preferred food source of many species for reptile and amphibian that follow
this same activity pattern, e.g. geckos and most tree frogs.
