The striking appearance of red eyed tree frogs makes them one of the most desirable frog species. This small but iconic frog species is native to the neo-tropical rainforests of Central America. Beautiful to look at this species is very delicate so is not suitable for handling. They do make a wonderful display species. Strictly nocturnal they do best in a vivarium with live plants and plenty of climbing room as they are very active after dark.
