Philodendron micans (sometimes referred to as Philodendron scandens "micans" is a close relative of Heartleaf Vine a hardy plant species perfect for damp to very humid vivaria. A perfect option for a huge array of species; including (but not limited to) Dart Frogs, Tree Frogs, Crested Geckos, Day Geckos, etc. Due to its hardiness this makes an excellent vivarium plant as it is able to tolerate a wide variety of temperatures, humidity and light levels. Philodendron micans produces wonderful velvety bronze to purple leaves as it grows and is as popular with plant collectors as it is with reptile and amphibian keepers. This is a simple to care for but quite difficult to find species, not one we come across very often, this species is used in a lot of personal enclosures by staff here at global geckos but we are rarely ever able to obtain it in large enough quantities to sell.
