The Cheese Plant (Monstera deliciosa) is a large leaved hardy plant species perfect for tropical vivaria. There has been much interest in unusual cultivars of this species, particularly in variegated varieties such as this one "Thai Constellation". Even only a few years ago a single "Thai Constellation" would sell for many hundreds if not thousands of pounds to specialist plant collectors.  Thankfully with the continued effort of specialist plant nurseries the prices have now reached a sensible level so that everyone can afford to enjoy this attractive plant.

A perfect option for a huge array of species, including (but not limited to) Dart Frogs, Tree Frogs, Crested Geckos, Day Geckos, etc. Originally native to Central and South America starting in Southern Mexico and appearing down to Panama, this species has been introduced and become  pest species in Hawaii, Seychelles, Ascension Islands and Society Islands. The common name of Cheese Plant comes from the presence of holes in the leaves that appear as they grow. Due to its hardiness this makes an excellent vivarium plant as it is able to tolerate a wide variety of temperatures, humidity and light levels.
