The Gold dust dracaena is a favourite of all Madagascan reptile species such as day geckos, panther chameleons, leaf tailed geckos and cat eyed snakes.

This variety of Dracaena grows more like a small bamboo with many tough but thin stems with pointed leaves. Like all dracaena it is relatively slow growing but in the north of Madagascar much of the lowland forest understory is made up of Dracaena species like this. They can tolerate a wide variety of temperatures, light levels and humidity but do not like waterlogged soil.  They can be left in the pot or planted into the substrate of your tank for that natural and realistic feel.
