Dubia cockroaches (Blaptica dubia) are the most readily available and most commonly used 'feeder cockroach'. They are realtively easy to maintain and last a long time if fed. They do not climb glass making them easy to contain within the vivarium (no escapee's). Small Cockroaches are ideal for lizards under 15cm total length such as young geckos, bearded dragons and chameleons, medium cockroaches are suitable for adult leopard gecko sized individuals and large cockroaches are suitable for adult bearded dragons, small monitor lizards and larger chameleons.
