Amphibians differ from reptiles in many ways but most noticeably because they have smooth skin instead of scales covering their body. This smooth skin is permeable to water so most amphibians require a humid habitat to survive and many of the world’s amphibians are semi-aquatic and often found near water. Some of the most popular species of pet amphibian are the tree frogs such as the Whites Tree frog, also very popular are dart frogs as they are active by day and brightly coloured making them fascinating occupants in naturalistic and bioactive live planted terraria.

Because we are so committed to animal welfare we feel it would be inappropriate and irresponsible to list live animals as if they were just another product. You can still purchase animals via a digital invoice or Paypal, we simply prefer the sale of live animals to be a little bit more sensitive than general internet shopping allows.

CAN YOU DELIVER MY ANIMAL TO ME?

YES! 

Livestock Shipping:

• For all livestock shipping enquiries please contact the us in store, via telephone, email or our face book page.
• Livestock Shipping is by High Flyers (fully insured and Defra registered animal courier) to ship animals anywhere in the mainland UK.
• Consignments are collected from us every Tuesday and arrive to you within 24hrs on the next day (Wednesday).
• The charge for this service is £65 per consignment (max 15 animals) anywhere within England and Wales, the cost for destinations in Scotland and within the ULEZ zone of London vary.
• Livestock shipping must be booked by Friday 6pm for shipping that next week otherwise it will roll over to the following week for shipping.
• Proof of set up, environmental parameters and appropriate knowledge must be provided prior to us shipping an animal to you. This will be requested by staff at the point of your enquiry about livestock shipping.
