The ReptiZoo Deluxe Heatmat with inbuilt thermostat is an all in one heating solution for species that have moderate heat requirements without the need for a basking site.

Made from a carbon film this heat mat will heat fast and evenly across its surface and the PVC coating means it is flexible and strong and has improved insulation properties.

They are supplied with a 3M adhesive backing so that they can be used underneath an enclosure or stuck onto the side or roof of an enclosure. They are a higher wattage heat mat per cm2 than normal heat mats making them effective for use on the sides/roof of an enclosure where other heat mats would struggle to reach temperature.

The major difference between the ReptiZoo Deluxe heat mat and standard heat mats is that they have an inbuilt smart chip in the mat itself and inline control unit on the power lead meaning they have the capability of thermostatic control without the requirement for purchasing a separate thermostat. The temperature can be set directly on the inline digital control unit and will accurately hot the mat at any desired temperature between 20C (68F) and 50C (122F).

These are perfect for use with species that only have mild to moderate heating requirements when attached to the side of the enclosure. We find the medium and large size work well in this manner for many species of amphibians and new Caledonian geckos such as crested geckos and the smaller sizes are prefect for invertebrates like tarantulas and scorpions.
