Dracaena are an excellent group of plants for vivaria as they are incredibly hardy and can tolerate a wide range of environmental parameters. They are relatively slow growing and although they appreciate regular watering they don’t like to be in waterlogged soil. They are sturdy plants and prefect for use with heavier bodied enclosure occupants as the plants will not be easily damaged by animals jumping on them.
