The benefits of a mesh enclosure over a glass enclosure include lower cost, better ventilation, and taller height. They are also more suitable for montane species like Jacksons Chameleons etc which will do better in an all mesh enclosure than in glass. However, do consider that because mesh is not going to retain any heat or humidity you may find you need to cover over some of the mesh to stop draughts if it is a standalone enclosure in a normal household environment.

Standard Kit Contents: (full set up instructions with diagrams are always provided)

Housing – The standard Mesh Reptibreeze enclosure included is the Large size 45cm x 45cm x 90cm high. For larger chameleon species such as Panthers and Yemen chameleons you will need to use the Extra Large size to house them as adults.

Lighting - Arcadia Pro T5 24W 12%

Heating - Arcadia 14cm ceramic clamp lamp fixture + Arcadia solar flood basking bulb + Habistat 600w Day and Night Digital Dimming Thermostat

Substrate – 1 x 10L Orchid Bark to help you create a moisture retaining substrate to boost humidity.

Supplements - Arcadia Earth Pro A 100g + Arcadia Earth Pro Mg 80g + Arcadia Earth Pro Revitalise D3 100g

Options and Upgrades:

1.      Mesh enclosure Size + with/without Substrate tray, choose your preferred enclosure size, between the Reptibreeze L at 18in x 18in x 36in (45cm x 45cm x 90cm high) or the Reptibreeze XL at 24in x 24in x 48in (60cm x 60cm x 120cm high) you can also select whether it has the substratetray or not.

2.      Reptibreeze stand – Stands are available for both sizes of Reptibreeze to elevate them off the floor.

3.      UVB Lighting kit – You can have the standard 24wProT5 Unit or upgrade to the cutting edge lumenIZE range which will do automatic dawn and dusk cycles (we highly recommend these kits). 

4.      Thermostat – The kit as standard already comes with a day andnight programmable digital dimming thermostat but if you want greater control over your heating to be able to provide varying temperatures throughout the day then we also offer all 3 of the Microclimate Evo Connected range, these are the most advanced thermostats on the market.

5.      Décor Selection – We provide two sizes of décor packs suitable to instantly kit out your enclosure, the contents of the décor packs can be seen here, they work out much cheaper than purchasing individual decorations.

6.      Live Plant / Bioactive Bundles – We would always recommend using live plants with chameleons as they will help visual barriers / cover and increase the humidity in the enclosure. The bioactive kits will help you take this one step further and create a whole living ecosystem. Do consider that to make a Reptibreeze bioactive you will need to line the base/lower section with plastic sheeting to enable you to have deep enough substrate to go bioactive.

7.      Add LED lighting – Led lighting will increase the overall brightness within the enclosure but it will also work wonders for plant growth so we would recommend these when using live plants. Options available for the standard Arcadia Jungle Dawn Bar or the LuminIZE versions of the Jungle Dawn LED Bar to give you that natural dawn and dusk cycle.

8.      Automatic Misting System – take the trouble out of regular mistings by using an automated system, the user friendly Rainmaker system from Habistat or the market leading option from MistKing are both available as additional upgrades.

9.      Arboreal Feeding station – Chameleons prefer to eat up in the trees, so the use of an arboreal feeding station is an excellent way to provide an elevated feeding experience for them.

10.   Drinking fountain – Chameleons will rarely if ever drink water from a bowl but most will drink from a fountain of moving water. This is a good way to make sure your chameleon stays hydrated.

11.   Night time heating – In colder houses some chameleons will benefit from night time heating, the night time heating kit comprises an Arcadia 14cm ceramic clamp lamp fixture + Arcadia 80w Deep Heat projector and includes an upgrade to the Microclimate Evo 3 thermostat to control both day and night time heating (don't select the Evo 3 upgrade separately as it is already included here)
