Bearded Dragons (Pogona vitticeps) are the number 1 most popular pet lizard in captivity and with good reason. They would originate from Australia originally, but all individuals are captive bred, these ones are bred right here in store. Bearded dragons are diurnal by nature (active during the day) and their alert and inquisitive nature means they have bags of character and charm. They are arguably the best pet reptile in terms of handleability and in a secure room they can be let out of their enclosure for short periods of time to explore the world outside their enclosure as well.

Bearded dragons have been selectively bred for a wide variety of colour morphs, many of which are very striking in appearance.
