Barking Geckos are a charming small gecko species, native to Australia. Hardy and easy to care for they make a good starter reptile species. They get their name from the chirping bark like noise they make when alarmed.
These are all store bred from multiple different
bloodlines, all are sold unsexed but at times we may have some grown on well
enough to be able to sex them, please enquire if you require sexed individuals
but no lone females are currently available.
Barking geckos are a great alternative to leopard geckos for
those who may be looking for a smaller terrestrial species with relatively straight
forward care requirements. They need a relatively arid environment but with an
area of localised humidity (humid hide). They are currently feeding mostly on
dusted crickets and small locusts but will also take various worms when offered.
Staying smaller than leopard geckos but being tolerant of handling means they
can be a perfect pet for those that would like something a bit different or
perhaps only have space for a slightly smaller enclosure.
Proof of appropriate housing will be required
prior to sale.
