Corn snakes are native to the southern and east-central United States where they are found in habitats ranging from fields to woodlands. Generally docile in nature the corn snake has become a popular species in the reptile hobby. The ability to produce a wide range of colour variations (morphs) through selective breeding also lends great appeal to this species. They are a fantastic starter species.
