This species of gecko originates from North and Central America. They are seldom seen in the hobby but are relatively easy to care for. They are a close relative of the leopard gecko, much are much smaller in size. They grow to approximately 5 inches including tail. Their husbandry is similar to that of a leopard gecko but they require spraying occasionally and a humid hide at all times to aid with shedding. Due to their much smaller size they aren't the best for handling. These animals are very varied in appearance.
