A small rarely offered African species, probably one of the most sought after African species of geckos. Growing to a maximum size of around 10cm, these animals like it hot and relatively dry. These are an incredibly interesting species with large rough tubercles, a distinct pattern, and a scorpion mimic behavior. They should be housed in a desert themed vivarium with a hot spot of 28C during the day is a must with a night time drop to around 20C. They appreciate the occasional mist, around twice per week. They will accept small crickets which should be supplemented with good calcium and vitamins. Females will lay anywhere from 4-8 clutches per season. Fresh hatchlings have a striking bold pattern.
