Whites tree frogs are one of the best beginner amphibian species and one of the very few amphibians that can be considered appropriate to handle. Originating from Australia and Papau New Guinea, most captive frogs originate from the latter locality. Relatively easy to care for in captivity, attention must be paid to their diet as they can be prone to obesity due to their large appetite.
These are 'Snowflake' White's Tree Frogs; a line bred mutation that gives them white flecks over their body. This is a seldom seen 'morph' of frog in the UK.
